Lucid Dreams – Rekindle the fire of the soul

(VI-9-3)

There are no words to explain the bliss of being undone when encountering light/spirit through lucid dreams, when the mind is no longer engaged in sense-perception and all souls are as one.

During my lifelong encounters with lucid dreaming, an extraordinary light appears on the horizon. It is inviting and amazing to behold, and yet it is only a reflection of its source.

No matter the power attained through my ego up until this time – as in my acquired capacity to fly or move large objects – once the light appears in the distance, all goals become frivolous and monotonous.

Peril awaits me on my journey but my longing to reach the luminosity overpowers my fears and illusions. Sometimes wild animals will appear or incredibly large mountains will pose as obstacles; once even a dragon tried to stop me from going forward.

Eventually we break through but there are no adequate words to describe this penetration of sorts. No army like badge to put on our shoulders to declare our rank.

It is a knowing that surpasses our human capacity. No chalice can be made to hold its wine but metaphors that merely reflect the divine.
