The Meditations of Marcus Aurelius

The Meditations consist of 12 chapters (titled books) written by the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius. They were his personal writings and seem to have served as a reminder for him to uphold a principle & moral based life. The writing possesses a strong Stoic orientation and insight into the mind of a ruler who governed one of the largest empires in history.
