Our Guardian Spirit

As children our Guardian Spirit is very real to us but as we become more rigid and cynical in our view of the world we pass off our Daemon as mere superstition. Plato himself approaches such topics through the medium of myth but that doesn’t mean we have to debunk our spiritual helpers because they are described in mythical terms. What if the very language we use to communicate is still without the capacity to conceptualize such metaphysical entities rightly? Plotinus on the other hand explores this theme without the use of myth and is recognized to this day as a brilliant mind for thinking outside of the box. My video commentary on this treatise adds little or nothing at all in way of academic research, but it may at the very least bring a spark to those who still long to rekindle a ‘conscience’ contact with their Higher Power.
