Tis our moment under the Sun.

Refreshed & glad to have been with reprieve.
Sorrow forgotten in the heart of the naive.
Wisdom is born through conflict and strife.
Setting us free from that which lacks life.

Endless the road that leads into night.
Marooned in the darkness without pure light.
Lost and in circles we walk with the breeze.
Until moments end we fall to our knees.

From here we let go all that is made.
Demons return into the bleakness of shade.
Now open your eye as keen as the sun.
And see why everything is already done.

Moments in time are nothing to compare.
Chains of illusion that hold us in fear.
Diamonds they shine once pressed under foot.
Through eons they exist buried in soot.

Refreshed & glad to have been with reprieve.
With magic we play with fire to conceive.
A blanket of heavy warmth in winter’s eve.
Forgotten are words we use to deceive.
