The Soul of Metaphysical Reflections

The apex and role of an artist is to bring beauty, harmony & splendour into the mundane world through the vivifying qualities of the Muses.

A bold statement in need of validation yes; so let’s reflect upon the creative literary art of Plato to determine for ourselves whether or not there is truth and inspiration to be received through the wondrous power of the Muses. Click here to access a handful of passages taken from the dialogues of Plato (and Plotinus) that may help to rekindle the fire of imagination.

Love & light,

“As for the Muses and music and poetry in general, they seem to have derived their name from their eager desire to investigate and do philosophy.” – Plato
